Medal accompanied by photocopied extract from medal roll confirming medal and clasps. Medal roll gives rank as Lance Corporal. Unusual combination of clasps to the 1st Battalion Leinster Regiment, most of the men from the battalion also receiving the Wittebergen and/or the Transvaal clasp in addition to the Cape Colony and Orange Free State clasps.
