Seaman’s pocket record book and certificates of discharge, similar format to UK passport, with various entries covering the period 27/7/1949 to 22/11/1963 for a wide variety of passenger ships, liners, etc., with Dunning being rated variously on the ships he was employed on as Musician, Band Master and Band Leader. Cover scuffed but internally clean.
Record book accompanied by copied extract 1939 Register.
Arthur Dunning was born in Liverpool on 23/5/1917. He is recorded in the 1939 Register as a single male musician resident at 19 Jeffeneys Crescent, Huyton, Liverpool.
