Arthur Armstrong saw service exclusively during WW1 with the 2nd Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. He enlisted on 23/4/1917 and was discharged on 3/6/1919 as a result of wounds. The Regimental Journal, The Sprig, for October 1918, records Armstrong as having been taken prisoner of war.
Recipient also entitled Victory Medal and Silver Wound badge, but not to either of the Stars.
