Several small edge nicks and bruises, clasp slightly buckled, otherwise Good Very Fine.

Only one C. Williams recorded as serving with the 3rd Madras Fusiliers in Kevin Asplin’s roll for the Indian Mutiny Medal. Medal roll confirm entitlement to medal with clasp Central India to 600 Private Charles Williams.

Medal accompanied by copied medal roll details, extracts from British Army Worldwide Index for 1861 and 1871, and copy Chelsea Pensioners Discharge Documents.

600 Private Charles Williams is recorded as serving with the 108th Madras Infantry at Jaulnah, East Indies in 1861 and at Deesa, India, in 1871. He was discharged Private on 28/1/1872 at the “Discharge Depot ” after 21 years and 53 days service with the colours, his conduct being recorded at the time of discharge as “V Good”.
